The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program aims to provide students with a safe and supportive environment where they can learn life long skills of gardening, cooking and healthy eating and for our Café students and opportunity to develop their customer relations skills.
The program provides opportunities for students to experience success, encourage risk taking in learning, develop self-confidence and may potentially lead to future opportunities of employment in the hospitality industry.
Students regularly harvest and create healthy meals and share these as a learning community.
